This friend has now retired from public life. I can still make these for you, however they are now made-to-order, so take about 21 days. You're welcome to purchase this item, but they will not ship until ready, and if you purchase anything with these items from elsewhere in the store, they all ship at the same time.

This bird has a very important job! A flagbearer to greet you, or display any message of your choice (each bird comes with one white flag canvas that you can you add anything you wish to!). May I suggest - "be nice to pigeons"?

Like all my handmade items, this pigeon is wheel-thrown ceramic on the potter's wheel in a lovely speckled grey Sibelco clay, very rock dove. Underglazed with a pigeon colour palette and then kiln fired with a transparent sheen. Have you seen my kitchenwares?
